flypop plans to launch the first flight to Amritsar in June 2020 and flights to Ahmedabad shortly thereafter.
At first three services a week to each destination, moving up to six services a week as soon as passenger demand is obvious.
The Indian communities in the UK have been demanding direct flights to Amritsar and Ahmedabad for many years as presently it is still necessary to have a stop-over en route or make arrangements for connection (by train or car) in India.

flypop will use Airbus A330, a state-of-the-art aircraft with modern standards and comfort. We will include some options (e.g. wi-fi and USB ports) not available on other airclines.

flypop will offer a selection of truly authentic vegetarian and non-vegetarian options of classic Punjabi and Gujarati dishes created by staff skilled at cooking Indian food, all served in generous thali-sized portions. For those who like their brussell sprouts 'extra soggy' there will be Western options.
flypop intends is to make Wi-Fi access available so passengers can bring their mobile devices on-board and access the flypop app and in-flight entertainment via Wi-Fi. Internet connectivity will have a small additional charge.
