George Bogdan Marin

Bogdan has over 25 experience in aviation holding different senior management roles in various areas of the airline business, from Fleet Management to Strategy & Communication.

Bogdan has extensive aviation experience. He has been working in the airline industry for the past 25 years, holding different senior management roles in various areas of the airline business, from Revenue Accounting to Treasury and from Fleet Management to Strategy & Communication.

He was involved in aircraft leasing activities for more than 12 years, working closely with most of the major lessors , aircraft manufacturers and banks/financiers in the market.

During his career he has accumulated outstanding Project Management experience, being involved in several restructuring and Business Plan projects coordination and implementation.

He also has extensive knowledge of Joint Venture projects, having held non-executive Board membership positions in DNATA Romania SRL (JV between TAROM and DNATA U.A.E. part of the Emirates Group) and Romanian Fuelling Services SRL (JV between TAROM and British Petroleum).

Bogdan graduated in Management from the Economic Studies Academy in Bucharest, and also an MBA from Toulouse Business School in Toulouse, France.

During his stay in Toulouse (1999-2000), he was invited to join AIRBUS as a marketing specialist within the Commercial Division Aero Structures, a position that allowed him to expand his aviation knowledge and establish exceptional business relationships with Bombardier in Canada and Short Bros. in the UK.

He was also one of the winners of the prestigious French Aeronautics and Space Industry Award (FASIA), in 2000.
