Learning or cognitive disability

You are in good hands

Help if you need it

The environment in a busy airport and on board an aircraft can be very confusing and upsetting to people who may not understand where they are. If you have a learning or cognitive disability (such as Dementia, or Alzheimer’s), you should not travel alone unless you are able to find your way through security checks at the airport and through the airport to your boarding gate. You should also be able to understand and react to safety instructions on board. If you are not confident that you can do this then we will require that you fly with a companion.

Please note that one-to-one personal care cannot be provided on board.
